I Heart Toronto History!

I love learning about the history of this great city...how it came to be, the beautiful buildings built in Victorian times.  Its really a wonder.  In 2009 I found a cool documentary all about the founding of Toronto.  It was made by Anne Martin of On Top of the World in honour of Toronto's 175th birthday.  Funnily enough I saw it on PBS and was really impressed with the content.  Anne generally does interesting and educational travel videos, but on this occasion put together this film about the history of this great city.  Here are some clips from the documentary Toronto 175.  If you are a history buff like me, I highly recommend contacting Anne to get your own copy of the film and support local film makers.
